Our take: For golfers who have moderate to slow swings—a large percentage of the playing population—a lightweight driver is the perfect option for adding clubhead speed with minimal effort. The Prime is just that—a 250-gram driver that is both lightweight and strong to help golfers swing faster without really having to swing harder. It’s on sale too, making it perhaps one of the best bargains around, if you happen to want a premium, luxury product.

XXIO Prime driver

A driver built for slower swing speeds and premium performance, the XXIO Prime features Super Tix Plus titanium, a lightweight but high-strength alloy for a hot sweetspot and even hotter distance.

The details: The Prime is forged from Super-Tix Plus titanium, a lightweight yet high-strength alloy. The cupface provides added distance via a hotter sweet spot that’s also 103 percent larger than the previous model. The SP-1000 shaft is extremely light and adds a dose of extra clubhead speed and distance.

Where to buy it: Click here. Or better yet, get fit for the irons by the experts at our sister company, True Spec Golf.
