5 fantastic pants options to match your style on the golf course
We are well aware that not one pair of pants is right for everyone. But one of these five is bound to make you look good on, and off, the course.
Technical: Galvin Green
Galvin Green does an excellent job with the design and fabric of these pants. They’re slightly more fitted than a traditional trouser. They’re also more comfortable, easy to move in and look well-tailored.
Stretchy / Comfy: Greyson Joggers
More of a style statement than some other golf pants out there, these joggers from super-cool brand Greyson Clothiers are perfect for the confident guy who’s comfortable in his own skin and knows his game.
New Classics: RLX
Many have said these are the most comfortable pants on the market that aren’t specifically sweats. The look is traditional. The feel is exceptional. Great style with no tradeoff.
Like everything it makes, these Bonobos pants are focused on a solid fit. So much so that they convinced Justin Rose to become an ambassador.
The ABC in the ABC Pant stands for Anti Ball Crushing. This seems like a worthy attribute to us. We trust a company that sells a bazillion pairs of leggings every year to make comfortable pants. While you may not think of Lululemon in the golf space, they are actually amazingly suited for the task. The good news is they also fit nicely into your everyday life as well. Win. Win.
UP FOR DEBATE: DRESS LIKE A TOUR PRO?
FOR: In general, dressing like a pro golfer is a wise move. Think: nicely fitting pants, tucked in, collared shirt, ball cap. Dressing like a specific pro — think: blaze orange — is something we’re ready to outlaw.
AGAINST: Unless you’re a Tour pro or work for an apparel company, wearing a perfectly crafted logo-matching outfit top to bottom is a little try-hard. But Tour fashion is getting sportier and more stylish; there’s plenty of good to
take to your own closet.
FOR: A little try-hard? More like a little desperate to fit in! There are 24 million golfers out there, and only one of them has earned the right to wear blaze orange from head to toe. You don’t need that to look good.
AGAINST: Not even Rickie wears the full orange getup any more; let that be a lesson to all of you.
