With the return of Game of Thrones just around the corner, fans everywhere are seeing their thoughts turn to Westeros and its world of kings and queens and walls and dragons. That group apparently includes Sergio Garcia, who showed off his new Game of Thrones-themed Adidas shoes over the weekend on Instagram.
“As a GOT fan, this is so cool!! I’ll definitely be wearing these for the final season in a few weeks,” Garcia wrote on Instagram, accompanied by a photo of the shoes.Â

So what do we know about these new kicks? They’re part of a crossover line, Adidas Ultra Boost x Game of Thrones. The model shown here are the “House Targaryen Dragons,” featuring a “Core Black/Core Black-Scarlet” Red color scheme.
The tag at the back of the shoes reads “Fire and Blood.” A lesser writer would tackle the low-hanging fruit about Fire and Blood being the exact style with which Garcia approached his Saturday match against Matt Kuchar, which ended in flaming controversy. But instead let’s just say the shoes are appropriate for a passionate player who has been recognizable for two decades in his characteristic three-stripe Adidas look.
The shoes, which came out in February, were available through Adidas’s website for $180. Unfortunately for Thrones fans, they’ve sold out completely.
Game of Thrones’s return has drawn plenty of attention in the golf world for its return date: Masters Sunday. If you can score a pair of these kicks, you and the 2017 green jacket winner will both be prepped and ready for the new season.
