Adam Long made a 14-footer for birdie on the 72nd hole to win the Desert Classic by one shot in just his fifth start as a PGA Tour rookie. Long's Scotty Cameron Futura X5R putter was the difference-maker on Sunday, as Long poured in big putt after big putt with the winged mallet. He wound up gaining an eye-popping 2.886 shots on the field with the flatstick on Sunday.
