Perennial top 10 machine Charles Howell III won his first PGA Tour event since 2007 and the third of his career at the RSM Classic in Sea Island on Sunday. To get the job done Howell shot 68-67 over the weekend to tie Patrick Rodgers at 19-under-par and then won a playoff on the second extra hole.
Formerly a PXG staffer, Howell played a full bag of Titleist clubs and the new Pro V1 as well as a TaylorMade putter, and will almost undoubtedly be a Titleist staff player in 2019. Notable in his set up are three different iron models from Titleist – the TM-B, AP2, and CB, as well as a 21° TS2 fairway wood.
