Designed with the help of Rickie Fowler, the new Cobra King Forged CB/MB irons ($1099) come in a progressive set that includes cavity back longer irons (4-6) and muscle-back shorter irons (7-PW).
The goal of the progressive design is to provide enhanced playability for a wider range of golfers, particularly in the longer irons. All of the CB/MB irons are also manufactured with a five-step forging process for an exacting shape and the soft, responsive feel better players like Rickie prefer.
Other features of the new King Forged CB/MB irons include CNC milled face and grooves for enhanced spin and control, tungsten weighting in the toe and center of the head for improved forgiveness, and Diamondized Black Metal finish for a cool look and extra durability.
KBS S-Taper shafts with black PVD finish comes standard as do Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips. Though the set comes standard in 4-PW, a 2- and 3-iron, as well as a gap wedge, are also available.
The King Forged CB/MB irons will be available at retail and on cobragolf.com on November 2nd.
