The final round of the Phoenix Open is upon us, which means it’s time to look back at one of the most iconic moments in its 80-plus year history.

During the third round of the 1997 Phoenix Open, Tiger Woods made a hole-in-one on the par-3 16th and followed it up by partying with the tournament’s famously rowdy crowd. Sports Illustrated’s Robert Beck captured the memorable moment with this famous photograph. Behind an elated Woods is a blown-away crowd that witnessed history. Now, to the rankingsā€¦
