A seven-year-old kid from Spain might just be the classiest guy in golf.
After competing in a golf competition over the weekend, the boy realized that his winning score had been calculated incorrectly. His reaction was not what you’d expect from your typical first grader: he insisted on writing a letter explaining his mistake to the Royal Andalusia Golf Federation and returning his trophy, so that it could be “given to the player who deserves it.”
His father explained that his young son didn’t want anyone to think that he had changed the score purposefully. Not just that: “He really didn’t want his mom to know.”
Golf: a true gentleman’s game.
