Now on the tee, from Northern Ireland, Rory McLlroy?
Wait a second. That’s not right.
McIlroy’s caddie J.P. Fitzgerald sported an unusual spelling of his charge’s name at the WGC-Cadillac Championship on Thursday.
There are so many questions about Bibgate. How did this happen? Did the typical serif font of McIlroy’s name throw the bib printers off? Did someone sound it out incorrectly? Is it payback from course owner Donald Trump for McIlroy saying he wouldn’t vote for any of the presidential candidates if he was American?

To be fair, it’s borderline impossible to spell “Day” wrong. In any case, Fitzgerald should pass along the bib for McIlroy to hurl into the lake, circa Doral 2015. That we’d like to see!
