What to get for the golfer who has everything? A club seller on eBay is offering a collector’s item for the ages: a Scotty Cameron putter custom-made for Jordan Spieth in his University of Texas days. Given that Spieth’s putting prowess is one of his most valuable assets on the course, perhaps the seller is hoping that the putter still contains some of that old Jordan magic. The intangible power of a club that once lived in Spieth’s bag may account for the $17,999 list price.

The putter (34″, R&D Proto Tour Rat Concept 1 Circle T) is clad in University of Texas orange and stamped with the word “Spieth.” It also comes with a certificate of authenticity. Spieth apparently got rid of the club because it didn’t perform as well as the Scotty Cameron 009 prototype that’s currently in his bag and that has helped him win six Tour titles.

Clubfinders Golf, the Dallas-based company selling the club, also offers vintage and rare equipment, and, for the super-fan: unopened Wheaties boxes with Tiger Woods’ grinning photo on the front.
