Niall Horan is going in a different direction. The Sun reports the One Direction singer will put off his solo music career to start a player management firm for golfers, specifically those in the United Kingdom.

Horan is a close friend of PGA Tour star Rory McIlroy, even carrying McIlroy’s bags during the Par-3 contest at the Masters in 2015, famously slipping and falling while attempting to carry out his looper duties.

The agency project will be run in conjunction with One Direction’s management company Modest and be called simply Modest Golf Management.

According to the report, former TaylorMade account manager Mark McDonnell will join the venture.
