Have you ever wanted to play in a pro-am but haven’t been able to a) afford it, b) get there or c) find the right equipment? Well, Hyundai has the chance of a lifetime for you.
Hyundai’s Ultimate Pro-Am Experience sweepstakes will give one lucky golfer a trip to play three different pro-ams with PGA Tour players. Included in the prize is travel to Maui, Hawaii, for the Hyundai Tournament of Champions; travel to La Quinta, California, for the CareerBuilder Challenge in partnership with the Clinton Foundation; and travel to San Diego, California, for the Farmers Insurance Open. The tournaments are Jan. 7-10, 21-24 and 28-31, respectively.
The winner will also receive a new set of TaylorMade irons, an invite to attend all pro-am-relayed events — including the draw parties and awards ceremonies — and cruise around in a courtesy vehicle from Hyundai at each event.
If this sounds like a dream come true, it’s probably because it is. Golf television analyst and Hyundai’s golf ambassador David Feherty said he was floored when he heard the extent of the prizes.
“I have never heard of a contest like this before,” Feherty said in an interview. “Travel to Hawaii and California in the dead of winter and playing in three pro-ams is an unheard of prize. I hope the winner of this has a nice boss.”
Those interested in entering the contest can do so at www.hyundaigolf.com. The contest runs from Oct. 15 to Nov. 30 and a winner is selected at random.
