Greg Owen might have made a birdie or two during his Players practice round on Monday, but he also saved a birdie.

The 44-year-old Englishman was walking off the 16th tee with Brandt Snedeker when they saw a baby blue jay fall out of a tree. It tried to fly across the water but couldn’t make it, so Owen came to the rescue. He stripped down to his skivvies and waded into the water to save the day.

You can check out the video below, which was posted on the Ziegler Golf School Facebook page. Owen tees off at 2:31 p.m. EST on Thursday.
