TaylorMade Golf and Microsoft have partnered to develop two new platforms that provide shot tracking and analysis capabilities through the use of the Microsoft Band.
Originally developed by Microsoft Health to help people track their fitness goals like heart rate, steps, calorie burn, and sleep quality, the Microsoft Band now offers the Golf Tile, which provides GPS yardages to front, middle, and back of the green, a digital scorecard and biometrics that gives fitness information during the course of a round.
After the round players can also find a summary of all the information on the Microsoft Health phone app (iOS, Android, and Windows) or Microsoft Health web dashboard.

In addition to the Golf Tile the Microsoft Band will soon also feature myRoundPro from TaylorMade, a unique analytics platform designed to work in conjunction with the Golf Tile and Microsoft Health. This new platform will further analyze players’ stats and provide additional data including strokes gained, proximity to the hole, fairway hit and greens in regulation.
