The new Bridgestone B330 and B330S golf balls ($45/dozen) are aimed at players with swing speeds over 105 mph that want premium Tour performance and distance. Improvements to the 2016 models include a new Tour core that’s 6% larger, helping to produce faster ballspeed and less spin off the driver.
New SlipRes Technology increases friction at impact for more spin on short shots in the scoring zone than previous models while also adding enhanced overall durability. A new softer core and cover improve the feel of both models.
B330 and B330S models will be available at retail on March 4, 2016.
The latest B330RX and B330RXS ($40/dozen) golf balls are also designed to provide premium Tour performance and distance but are made for players with swing speeds below 105 mph. Changes to the 2016 models include a new AMATOUR core, which is approximately 28% softer than many Tour models making them easier to compress and yielding more ballspeed, less spin, and more overall distance.
Both the RX and RXS models also feature the same SlipRes technology as the B330 and B330S models, which improves both spin on short shots and overall durability. The RX model is recommended for players who put more emphasis on overall distance while the RXS model is best for those who value more spin around the green.
B330RX and B330RXS models will be available at retail on January 25, 2016.
