Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge

Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge

Orlando, Fl.

After he waxed Jack Nicklaus in an exhibition at Bay Hill in 1965, Arnold Palmer decided to buy the place. It has hosted the Tour every year since 1979, and no pro has played the course quite so well as Tiger Woods, who pulled off a four-peat, winning the Bay Hill Invitational from 2000 to 2003. There are three nines at Bay Hill. The Tour uses the Champion and Challenger loops. The Charger nine is every bit as scenic as the others, just nowhere near as testing. To play Bay Hill, you must be a guest of the 70-room Lodge. To book a tee time in advance you must be on the Bay Hill Golf Package. Prices start at $544 per night, double occupancy, beginning April 1, 2006. 888-422-9445,
