MIYAZAKI, Japan (AP) – Japan's Toshinori Muto shot an 8-under 63 on Sunday for a four-stroke over Spain's Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano in the Japan Tour's rain-shortened Dunlop Phoenix.
Muto had nine birdies and a bogey to finish at 12-under 201. He won for the first time in two years.
Fernandez-Castano, coming off a playoff victory Monday in the rain-delayed Singapore Open, shot a 71.
The $2.5 million event was shortened to 54 holes after play Saturday was washed out.
