MADRID (AP) — Rhys Davies of Wales and Luke Donald of England have a two-shot lead going into the final round of the Madrid Masters.
Davies shot a 5-under 67 in Saturday’s third round, while Donald had a 68. The two are 16-under 200.
Italy’s Francesco Molinari had five birdies in the first seven holes for 65 that left him two shots back, while Alvaro Quiros of Spain was another stroke back after a 64. Quiros is going for a second victory on home soil this season after winning the Spanish Open.
Graeme Storm of England (67) was four back.
Donald’s last victory on the European Tour was the 2004 European Masters, while newcomer Davies won in Morocco earlier this year.
