One of our favorite European Tour traditions is the often cringe-worthy opening ceremony that don't translate well outside of the host country. Exhibit A: Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy twirling their clubs for the cameras in Dubai.
So give credit to Jason Dufner and Ian Poulter for managing to look relatively cool during the opening ceremonies for this week's Volvo China Open. The Duf and Poults took on former table tennis world champions Jan-Ove Waldner and Jörgen Persson of Sweden, and Jiang Jialiang of China.
There's no official word on who won, but we never bet against the Duf.
