How badly do people want to live on site at Tiger Woods' first U.S.-designed course?
Nearly one-third of the homes on the luxury golf resort have already sold -- and not one has been built.
According to the Houston Business Journal, 43 home sites have been pre-sold at Woods' Bluejack National, located northwest of Houston.
Ten of the nearly 150 homes to be built are under construction, and about 25 more will break ground by February, according to the article.
"Sales have been great," Casey Paulson, the president of Bluejack National, told the HBJ. "We only have one golf course slot left, although we'll have more in phase two. We'll have people living here in not too long."
The rustic homes will range from cottages to member suites to patio homes. The HBJ says they'll feature "smart home amenities," for lighting, security, ordering clubhouse food, etc., and range from 1,200 to 3,300 square feet. Prices range from about $400,000 to $1.5 million.
The course held a soft opening in November and showcased the first seven holes.
