What do you like most and least about playing with Tiger?

You have something really good to watch during your round. But because so many people follow the group, there's always the chance someone's going to distract you.

What club do you use when your ball is resting snug against the collar of rough around the green?

It depends on how far I am from the hole. I'll use anything, from the toe of my putter for shorter shots, to blading a wedge to bumping the ball.

What do you typically eat during a round and when?

Hardly anything, but I might eat some fruit or nuts.

Besides top money winner, what statistic would you most like to lead?

Driving distance. These days it seems that bombing it is the way to go on Tour.

What do you like most and least about playing with Tiger?

The worst thing is that the crowds sometimes show a lack of respect for the other players in the group.

What club do you use when your ball is resting snug against the collar of rough around the green?

A sand wedge, a putter or a utility wood depending on how high the collar is. You want to get it rolling as fast as possible without hitting it straight into the ground.

What do you typically eat during a round and when?

At the turn I mix a protein drink that Davis Love told me about--take protein powder and mix it in a bottle of cold water. That and a banana.

Besides top money winner, what statistic would you most like to lead?

Greens in regulation or driving accuracy. They're connected. It's hard to hit a lot of greens if you're driving it in the rough.

Did you know... Shot 65 on Sunday to win '88 PGA at Oak Tree

What do you like most and least about playing with Tiger?

There's nothing I don't like about it. You're playing with the best player in the world. if you don't like playing in front of crowds maybe you shouldn't be in the business.

What club do you use when your ball is resting snug against the collar of rough around the green?

I use a 5-wood a lot and play it like a long putt. If it's a really long shot, the 5-wood is the perfect club.

What do you typically eat during a round and when?

If I'm playing in the morning, I can hang in there if I eat a good breakfast. In the afternoon I have a few handfuls of almonds or raisins to nibble on every other hole.

Besides top money winner, what statistic would you most like to lead?

Driving distance and greens in regulation. It used to be all about putting, and it's still important--you don't see many putting leaders standing in a breadline.

Did you know... Won '01 Byron Nelson and was T2 in '04

What do you like most and least about playing with Tiger?

Least favorite: I'm a talkative guy, and he's pretty quiet. The best thing: the "scenery" that watches him play. Anyone who tells you different is afraid of his wife!

What club do you use when your ball is resting snug against the collar of rough around the green?

I'll take a 60-degree wedge and belly it, like I was putting. If the pin is far away, I wouldn't belly it, but I'd still use a 60-degree wedge and swing harder at it.

What do you typically eat during a round and when?

I like energy bars. PowerBars mostly, but any brand I can get my hands on. i'll eat them on the back nine or when I feel like I'm getting a little tired.

Besides top money winner, what statistic would you most like to lead?

I think greens in regulation is most important. Look at the top 10 in GIR, and six or eight of those guys are in the top 20 on the money list.
