Tiger Woods Chips in for Birdie on No. 1 at Wyndham Championship
Tiger Woods started the Wyndham Championship the way he rarely seems to begin tournaments anymore: with a birdie.
Woods teed off on the par-4 10th at Sedgefield Country Club, promptly pulling his 3-wood into the left rough. His approach from the trees landed in the rough short and left of the pin. Woods took a mighty cut with a wedge and lobbed the ball onto the green where it hit twice then rolled softly into the cup.
Tiger raised his hand to celebrate as the ball was about a foot away from the hole, and the crowd at watching went nuts.

Woods needs a win or a runner-up finish at the Wyndham Championship in order to move into the top 125 in the FedEx Cup standings and qualify for the playoffs.
