Tiger Woods Hits Root on 9th Hole in Masters Final Round

Masters 2015: This Masters Already a Home Run for Tiger Woods
During Friday's GOLF.com Live From Augusta recap show, Sports Illustrated's Alan Shipnuck and GOLF.com Live From Augusta host Shane O'Donoghue discuss how Tiger Woods' comeback is already a success, regardless of where he finishes.

Things took a painful turn for Tiger Woods on his second shot on No. 9 during the final round of the Masters Sunday.

His drive on the par 4 found pine straw well right of the fairway, and while Woods was able to hit a nice recovery shot that wound up just short and right of the green, leading to a par, he didn't escape unscathed.

Take a look:

Tiger appears to have struck a root under the ball. You can see him immediately grab his right wrist. While walking up to the green, Woods was clearly favoring his right arm and had a noticeable grimace on his face. His next full swing, off the tee on the par-4 10th, looked anything but comfortable and the ball went way right.

It remains to be seen whether his recovery shot on No. 9 will have any lasting consequences for Woods' game.
