SPRINGFIELD, NJ -- Rich Beem isn't going to win the PGA Championship at Baltusrol. But he might have won some fans on the 5th hole. Facing a difficult chip on his third shot and staring a potential bogey in the face, Beem had to play from the greenside gallery.

At four over and with rain pouring down in Springfield, Beem was just trying to finish out, but that doesn't mean you can't hit a great shot.

Beem chipped the ball into the rough and got a fortuitous kick forward. The ball tracked toward the hole and went in for a birdie 3. But before the 45-year-old could get to the green, he was mobbed by wet fans for high-fives and congratulations. He didn't seem to mind.
