Phil Mickelson gave photographers an earful after hitting his approach shot on the 18th hole during the third of the Open Championship at Royal Troon. Mickelson missed the fairway right and was nestled up next to the gallery. The camera shutters snapped as he pulled the club back, a sound clearly audible even on the NBC/Golf Channel telecast.

After Lefty watched his ball trundle into the greenside bunkers, he ripped the assembled photographers, saying "Guys, that’s so s****y. I can’t believe that. I get you gotta cover it, but why you gotta interfere with it?"

Mickelson ended up hitting a terrific bunker shot inside six feet and sunk the putt for par. He finished his round one under and is just one shot back of leader Henrik Stenson, who sits at 12 under for the tournament.
