Sergio Garcia can thank the wind for his most recent eagle.
Garcia asked for the wind to push his approach shot in the second hole from 148 yards out. The wind listened, and the shot wound up as an eagle two for Garcia at the 2016 Honda Classic.
Playing in the afternoon wave, Garcia followed up his eagle with a birdie at the third hole to jump up to the top of the leaderboard. The 36-year-old Spaniard is playing in just his second tournament of 2016 after missing the cut at the Northern Trust Open last week.
Putting has one of Garcia's big bugaboos over his career. One way to get that sorted out: not have to putt.

UPDATE: Sergio is having a busy round! He's leading the Honda Classic at 4-under through 11 holes, and he waded into a water hazard to hit his second shot on the par-4 6th. Before taking his shoes off and rolling up his pants, Garcia mentioned he had seen an alligator in the water and nervously looked around in the waters before he hit the shot.
