Well that's one way to make par.
After a long day grinding through two rounds at Oakmont, Sergio Garcia found himself on the 9th green (his final hole of the second round) with a 51-foot par putt that threatened to derail his solid play up to that point. With darkness descending and the buzzer about to sound, Garcia stepped up and sank the epic closing putt to save par and remain at two under.
The clutch putt keeps the Spanish veteran within two shots of the lead, with a great opporutnity to hunt for his first major championship victory over the weekend.
