21-year-old Jordan Spieth birdied the 18th hole to win the 115th U.S. Open at Chambers Bay, his second major title in a row after winning the Masters in April. Spieth now heads to the British Open at St. Andrews to try and complete the third leg of the calendar-year Grand Slam.
Spieth spoke with the media following the trophy ceremony Sunday night. He was asked about all the controversy surrounding the course and the greens this week, what this historic win means to his life and career, and what he thinks his chances are of becoming the first player to win all four professional majors in one year.
