Hey, Tom: You'll always have Kansas City.

Embattled Ryder Cup captain and Kansas City native Tom Watson appeared at Game 2 of the World Series in the Paris of the Plains to cheer on the Royals alongside actor Paul Rudd, Major League Baseball executive Joe Torre and Kansas City Chiefs punter Dustin Colquitt.

The trio of superfans were rewarded with a commanding win for the home team, as the Royals defeated the San Francisco Giants 7-2 on the strength of a five-run sixth inning to even the series at one game apiece.

The eight-time major winner has more than a casual interest in the team. According to ESPN, Watson was a member of a group that mounted an unsuccessful bid to purchase the Royals in 1999.
