Tiger Woods debuts as a Ryder Cup vice captain this month, and it's likely he'll be selected to lead a team himself in the next decade.
But would he be a good captain? Davis Love III certainly seems to think so. In an interview with GOLF, this year's U.S. captain said Woods has a promising future at the helm.
"He wants to be a Ryder Cup captain himself one day, and I'm sure he will be a great one," Love said. "But what's clear is that he's ready for another phase of his career. All the greats have had a transition period from world-beater to elder statesman. He knows that that day is coming."
In the interview, Love talked about his relationship with Woods and why the 14-time major winner will be so valuable to the Americans at Hazeltine, plus much more regarding this month's Ryder Cup. You can read the full interview with Captain Love here.
