Tiger Woods Responds to Health Rumors With Swing Video

Tiger Woods' Return Timetable Remains Uncertain
The GOLF LIVE team discusses when Tiger Woods may return to the golf course, and whether Tiger himself might provide any transparency to the state of his game.

Tiger Woods helped quiet whispers about the state of his health Wednesday morning with a video posted to his Twitter account.

The clip shows Woods taking a full swing with a 9-iron on an indoor swing simulator, paired with the caption: "Progressing nicely." The swing looked sound and the contact appeared pure.

Woods' agent, Mark Steinberg, told ESPN that the video was shot Wednesday just before 9 a.m.

Woods' tweet comes after a couple of anonymously sourced reports surfaced earlier this week on social media stating that his condition had worsened after yet another surgery. Steinberg fired back, calling the reports "ridiculous" and "absolutely false."

On Tuesday night Woods dined with fellow Nike pros at his restaurant in Jupiter, Fla., another indication that his balky back might be in better condition than previously thought.
