The last time Tiger Woods and headphones were in the same sentence was earlier this month when he was seen grooving to hip-hop while working on his short game at Augusta National.
Tiger was tight-lipped the next day when asked about his playlist. He did say, however, that music has been a part of his practice routine since the days of cassette tapes and the Sony Discman.
The next time we see Tiger practicing to music he’ll likely be wearing headphones from SOL Republic, which signed Woods as a pitchman in January. The company and Tiger announced today the release of a special edition of their SHADOW Wireless earphones.
“Music is a big part of my life on and off the course,” Woods said in a press release. “Working with SOL REPUBLIC, we’ve created a headphone that looks and sounds incredible. I’m excited to share it with my fans.”
Does that mean we’ll see more vines of Woods like this one? We can only hope.
