USA Solheim Cup Members Hang With POTUS at The White House

U.S. Beats Europe to Take Solheim Cup
The U.S. used a late comeback, and perhaps some motivation due to an earlier controversy, to beat Europe and win the Solheim Cup.

Dustin Johnson may have won the United States Open, but the ladies of the 2015 American Solheim Cup team are winning the United States capital.

After competing in the Meijer LPGA Classic in Grand Rapids Michigan, Team USA captain Juli Inkster and her team members did a brief tour of Washington, D.C., which included a very special stopover: The White House.

Decked out in their American flag Converse sneakers just as they were during the opening ceremonies last September in St. Leon-Rot, Germany, the women of Team USA hammed it up all over social media, and President Barack Obama was not to be left out.

Team USA made a spectacular comeback to beat Team Europe 14.5 - 13.5, capturing the cup for the first time since 2009.

Check out the fun snaps below.
