The 1st tee at any Ryder Cup is bonkers, and Hazeltine National's 1st fit that stereotype perfectly Friday morning.

Thousands of spectators lined the fairway from tee to green, essentially 10-deep, as Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson lined up against Patrick Reed and Jordan Spieth. The fans were hyped, chanting for Tiger Woods, Bubba Watson, Jim Furyk and the rest of the American vice captains. European supporters would sing back. It was quite the spectacle.
