After two sessions at the Ryder Cup, the Americans lead the Europeans by a score of 5-3. The U.S. team jumped out to an early 4-0 lead, but Europe came storming back in the afternoon session with a 3-1 finish. In a key morning session Saturday morning, both captains faced important decisions. Davis Love benched Dustin Johnson and Matt Kuchar, and Darren Clarke split up the duo of Henrik Stenson and Justin Rose. Here are the full pairings for Saturday below.
In the first match of the day, Rickie Fowler and Phil mickelson face Rory McIlroy and Thomas Pieters at 8:35 a.m. ET and and will be followed by Brandt Snedeker and Brooks Koepka against Henrik Stenson and Matt Fitzpatrick at 8:50 a.m. The next match pits Americans Jimmy Walker and Zach Johnson against Europeans Justin Rose and Chris Wood at 9:05 a.m. The final Saturday foursomes match features Patrick Reed and Jordan Spieth versus Sergio Garcia and Rafa Cabrera-Bello and will kick off at 9:20 a.m.
