Rory McIlroy Wants You to Know He's Ready for His 2016 Debut

Rory McIlroy Says He'd Beat Jordan Spieth in a Wrestling Match
During a livestream from Dublin's Facebook headquarters, Rory McIlroy told viewers he would come out on top in a wrestling match with Jordan Spieth.

Rory McIlroy will make his 2016 debut when he tees it up at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship on Thursday. The last time we saw McIlroy was when he won the European Tour's DP World Tour Championship in November.

And McIlroy wants you to know he's ready -- at least according to his Instagram account. The world's third-ranked golfer posted three different times from the range over the weekend. The first post has a caption that reads: "My office for the past week. Got some great work done! Loving the new Trackman with dual radar too! Ready to start the 2016 season next week."

The other two posts are of his swing -- one of which is in slow motion. (And, surprise, surprise, it looks good.)

McIlroy will have his hands full next week, though, since world No. 1 Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler and Henrik Stenson are also in the field. You can check out McIlroy's practice session below.
