Rickie Fowler Tweets Commitment to Representing USA in Olympics

Will Jordan Spieth and Other Top Americans Play in the Olympics?
Now that some of the top international golfers have withdrawn from the Rio Olympics, will American players like Jordan Spieth start dropping out?

Dustin Johnson became the first American to bow out of Olympic consideration, but Rickie Fowler tweeted some reassuring news to U.S. fans on Sunday.

Fowler tweeted: "Looking forward to wearing some red white and blue in Rio @olympics" accompanied by a photo of himself. It all but assures Fowler's commitment to the Games, which several PGA Tour stars have dropped out of during the last couple of months.

As of this writing, the USA lineup consists of Jordan Spieth, Bubba Watson, Patrick Reed and Fowler. It wouldn't be surprising to see Spieth make a similar announcement like Folwer's — whether he is in or out — in the next day or so.
