Good news for Jason Dufner and his fans: the PGA Championship is likely returning to Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, N.Y.

According to the Democrat and Chronicle, which sites multiple unnamed sources, all signs point to the PGA Championship returning to the site of Dufner’s last and only major championship victory in 2023.

A board of governors meeting was reportedly held at the club Tuesday night, during which the final approval to host the tournament happened.

Oak Hill president Bill Strassburg would not confirm the news, but another source said, “there’s going to be good news soon.”

The prestigious Donald Ross-designed course has hosted the PGA Championship three times: 1980, 2003 and 2013. Dufner finished two strokes ahead of Jim Furyk to win the event in 2013.
