Phil Mickelson knocks down marshal with errant tee shot at WGC-Bridgestone

It can be a tough world out there, especially when you're a few hundred yards down the fairway and Phil Mickelson is on the tee.

You can see what happened above to the unlucky course marshal who was felled by Phil's wayward tee shot. It came on the fourth hole in today's second round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. Phil being Phil, he parred the hole.

This is the second time a marshal has been hit, or nearly hit, recently. Tiger Woods bounced a drive into one at last month's British Open at Royal Liverpool.

The good news for the person knocked down by Phil's shot? He might be $100 richer, thanks to Phil's penchant for dispensing large tips to service people - and the handful he hits every year with crooked tee shots.
