So they can carry the bags, but can they tee it up? Your favorite PGA Tour caddies have a chance to prove they've got the right stuff on the course, playing in a Ryder Cup-style match play competition against each other at the end of August.

Loopers "Fluff" Cowan (Jim Furyk) and Steven Hulka (Brian Davis) head up Team USA, alongside vice captain Joe LaCava (Tiger Woods). Mark Fulcher (Justin Rose) and Gareth Lord (Henrik Stenson) will captain Team Europe. The caddies will play in a one day, two-round alternate shot and singles matches competition.

Also expected to play are Damon Green (Zach Johnson), Teddy Scott (Bubba Watson), and Glenn Murray (Sergio Garcia), to name but a few.

According to a press release for the event, some Tour players are expected to join and cheer on their caddies.

Proceeds from the event will benefit K9s for Warriors, a nonprofit organization that provides service dogs to military veterans.

"I am honored to be one of the U.S. team captains for the first-ever World Caddie Matches and look forward to an exciting match at the Mohegan Sun Golf Club," said Hulka, who is also the Chairman of the Association of Professional Tour Caddies. "It's a privilege to be a part of this charity tournament with my fellow golf caddies."

The World Caddie Matches will take place August 29 at the Mohegan Sun Golf Club in Uncasville, Conn.
