PGA Championship: Martin Kaymer Takes 'Happy Gilmore' Swing

Above Whistling Straits: A Bird's Eye View of the Wisconsin Wonder
Take a look at Whistling Straits Golf Course, the site of the 2015 PGA Championship, like you've never seen it before.

Tuesday’s practice round at Whistling Straits featured the ever-popular Long Drive Competition—Bubba Watson even participated this year!—and Martin Kaymer used it to practice his new swing.

Kaymer channeled his inner Happy Gilmore while teeing off on the second hole, starting a few feet behind the ball and getting his momentum churning forward before taking a swing.

But the bad news is that his drive landed in the rough, so it didn’t count. Still, he gave the folks watching on Tuesday a swing they aren’t used to, but love seeing, from the pros.

You can watch the video below. Kaymer tees off with Tiger Woods and Keegan Bradley at 9:15 a.m. (EST) on Thursday.
