Rory McIlroy made betters in Vegas look like geniuses so far, going into the clubhouse at -5 and one shot off the lead through the first round at the PGA Championship at the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville. McIlroy is now a 7/4 favorite to take home the Wanamaker Trophy.

Tiger Woods, who shot a +3 in the first round, is a 150/1 bet to capture his first major title in six years after beginning the week at 30/1. Defending champion Jason Dufner withdrew due to a neck injury at the end of Round One.
