Own a Piece of Golf History From the Inaugural Pure Golf Auction
Want to learn how to handle stress on the links like Ben Hogan? A copy of Howard Miller's How to Relax, owned by The Hawk himself, will be up for bidding as part of the inaugural Pure Golf Auction between March 1 and March 15.
Other memorabilia will include a Pinehurst No. 2 staff bag signed by Tiger Woods, a featherie golf ball from 1840, Samuel Ryder's work desk from 1916, a photo of Hogan practicing at Wentworth in 1953, along with scores of first addition books and original paintings by artists including Richard Chorley and Arthur Weaver.
There is even a 1:2000 scale replica of the Royal and Ancient clubhouse made by a golf-loving NASA scientist.
All of the items can be viewed online after registering for the auction at puregolfauctions.com.
