The opening round of the women's Olympic golf event ended up looking a lot like many of the rounds we see on the LPGA circuit: Ariya Jutanugarn leading, with players like Inbee Park, Lexi Thompson lurking and the best player in the world, Lydia Ko, very much in the mix.

Park got into the clubhouse with the lead after a first-round five-under 66, and her countrywoman Seiyoung Kim was close behind, posting a five-under 66. But then Jutanugarn came in and shot a six-under 65 to grab the top spot from Park.

The No. 1 player in the world got off to a rough start to her round in Rio, but Ko rallied to a two-under 69 that even featured the first eagle of the Games for the women.
