Olympic Golf Odds: Stenson, Garcia Favorites for Men's Competition

Olympic Pairings for First Two Rounds
Olympic golf kicks off Thursday for the first time in 112 years. Here's a look at the marquee pairings for Rio 2016.

The four Americans representing the United States have some of the best odds to win gold in Rio, but golfodds.com says British Open champion Henrik Stenson is the man to beat.

Stenson, who will represent Sweden at the Olympics this week, is a 9/2 favorite to win the men's golf competition. Spain’s Sergio Garcia has the second-best odds at 7/1, and Great Britain’s Justin Rose is 12/1.

Americans Bubba Watson and Rickie Fowler are both 12/1, and Matt Kuchar and Patrick Reed are 15/1. Masters champion Danny Willett, who will also represent Great Britain, is 20/1.

You can see the odds for the entire field, as of Aug. 9, below.
