NBA draft prospect Joel Embiid "plays" golf day before foot surgery

NBA prospect Joel Embiid has a stress fracture in his right foot and had surgery to repair it on Friday, throwing the NBA Draft into a virtual free-for-all, as Embiid was projected to be a top-five pick in the June 26th draft.

To help prepare for surgery, Embiid, who averaged 11.2 points and 8.1 rebounds in his one season at Kansas, posted the above photo on Instagram where he is seen presumably living out his Tiger Woods fantasies, complete with a caption "playing golf in this beautiful and sunny day."

No one really knows the story behind the photo. Embiid could be at a local putt-putt course, for all we know.
