NEW YORK (AP) Overnight ratings for the final round of the Masters were virtually unchanged from last year.
CBS's coverage of Zach Johnson's victory Sunday had a 9.1 overnight rating and 21 share, Nielsen Media Research said Monday. It was up 1 percent from the 9.0/19 last year, when Phil Mickelson won.
Saturday's coverage had a 6.1/13 overnight, up 20 percent from last year's 5.1/11.
Overnight ratings measure the 55 largest television markets in the United States, and each overnight rating point represents about 735,000 households. The rating is the percentage watching a telecast among all homes with televisions, and the share is the percentage tuned in to a broadcast among those households with televisions on at the time.
National ratings were expected later Monday.
