This week's GOLF.com podcast includes a discussion with golf commentator Mark Rolfing, who returns to the Golf Channel this week after battling Stage 4 salivary gland cancer. Rolfing talks with Alan Bastable about being diagnosed and forced to leave the game and career he loves.

Rolfing also shared an anecdote about an experience with Jordan Spieth just days after being diagnosed. According to Rolfing, Spieth was the last golfer he talked to before heading to Chicago to begin his recovery period.

"He just looked at me with that little sad basset hound look in his eye and I told him. I know he was really worried, as was I. He was the last guy I talked to," Rolfing said. Well, months later, Spieth was the first pro to talk with Rolfing again this week at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.
