Jordan Spieth Introduces U.S. Open Trophy To Green Jacket

Jordan Spieth Lands Another Sports Illustrated Cover After US Open Win
Jordan Spieth becomes the first athlete to land two Sports Illustrated national covers in 2015 for both of his major wins.

In April, Jordan Spieth won the Masters and claimed a green jacket for his first major championship prize. Two months later, he won the U.S. Open and added another trophy to the collection. On Monday night, he introduced them to each other.

Via Instagram, he showed the world what the two looked like in the same place, cozied up next to some pillows. “This was a nice introduction last night! Dream come true” was Spieth’s caption for the post that garnered 10,000 likes in just 15 minutes, though no words are needed to explain it has been a phenomenal 2015 for the 21-year-old.

The next trophy to be added to the scene? The Claret Jug, given to the British Open champion. The last golfer to put those three victory pieces together was Tiger Woods in 2001.
