LOUISVILLE, Ky. – It may not have the cachet of the annual champions dinner at Augusta National, but the PGA Championship has its own annual meal for its victors, and this year’s defending champion Jason Dufner served steaks with a seasoning that was perfect for the occasion: "Butt Rubbed."

Dufner, you may recall, embraced his wife, Amanda, while stepping off the 18th green moments after his victory at last year’s PGA Championship at Oak Hill. Cameras caught him giving her a friendly “pat” on her rear end, and that shot became more famous than anything Dufner struck on the course that week. Even Howard Stern razzed him about it.

In addition to the filet mignon, Dufner served a second personalized dish called “Alabama Slammer,” which contained fried green tomatoes, cheese, and shrimp and grits. “I think everybody enjoyed the food we had for them,” Dufner said. “I haven’t had any reports of anybody being sick, so that’s a good thing.”

The dinner, which was held at Churchill Downs, site of the Kentucky Derby, featured 17 past champions, several of whom are in the field this week, including Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy, Keegan Bradley, Martin Kaymer, Padraig Harrington, Mark Brooks, Vijay Singh and John Daly, who wore a paisley sports jacket for the occasion.

Here’s the full menu, and photo of the Dufners’ celebration that took the internet by storm.
